Julie is a big-time producer with a big network and a big heart. She is known as a rainmaker, a game-changer. A high-profile, high-passion, and highly principled executive who is relentless about results and client service.
For 30+ years, she has excelled in the worlds of professional sports, media planning and buying, and marketing consulting, management consulting, fundraising, community relations, and public relations. In addition to sports and broadcast media, Julie has represented numerous organizations in retail, B2B, and nonprofit sectors.
In addition to launching Julie Kahn Communication, Julie has served as President of Media & Marketing and Executive Vice President/Sports & Media at Regan Communications, one of the Boston area’s most prominent public relations firms. Today, she continues in a consultancy role at Regan while she provides full-service marketing at JKC, thanks to her robust network of industry colleagues, including award-winning public relations consultants.
Prior to Regan, she was Senior Vice President/New England of Entercom Boston, where she oversaw seven stations, including WEEI and WAAF-FM. At Entercom, the stations she managed raised more than $25 million for the Jimmy Fund, the Greater Boston Food Bank, the Franciscan Hospital for Children, and many other charities. Before adopting Boston as her home, she also held executive positions in radio in the Chicago and San Francisco markets.

A native of Detroit and a resident of Newton, Mass., she has a Bachelor’s of Arts in English Literature from the University of Michigan and a combined JD/MBA from Northwestern University, where she developed her keen business and legal acumen. She has also completed executive education programs at the Harvard Business School and MIT/Sloan School of Management.
She serves on the Board of Directors of the Positive Coaching Alliance, is a trustee for the Sports Museum of New England, is on the Boston Chapter Board of the National Sports Marketing Network, is an elected member of the Massachusetts Women’s Forum, is a board member of the Jewish National Fund, and formerly served on the board of Suffolk University.
