Julie Kahn, who recently left her executive role at Boston-based radio company Entercom Communications for a spot at Regan Communications Group, has been appointed to lead a new division of the company.
The new division, called Regan Marketing and Media, will offer marketing services and oversee Regan’s media planning services. Although some of these services, like video production and interview preparation, were already offered by Regan, the division came together in April “to bring all of the resources under one roof,” said Kahn.
“It’s a reorganization and new services,” she said.
Although the new division only has eight dedicated staff, Kahn noted that her division has tapped employees from other parts of the company for secondment to her division, including staff from three advertising, design, and marketing firms acquired by Regan Communications over the past several years.
Kahn, who was a client of Regan Communications for more than a decade as the general manager of Entercom, joined Regan in January as the firm’s executive vice president for sports, strategy and media. She stepped into her new role as president of Regan Marketing and Media about eight weeks ago, she said, although the change was announced on Wednesday.
